What to Use on Eczema For Immediate and Long Term Relief

Eczema is a condition of the skin and it's symptoms include pain, itching, redness and inflammation. If you wish to assuage the condition, here are some of what to use on eczema so you can have immediate and long term relief.
Diet changes - some patients suffering from eczema drinks only plain water and goes on a salt-free vegetable and fruit diet so that their skin condition will be improved. Musk melon and carrots are usually included in the diet as well as milk and curd.
Topical creams can also be used on eczema to relieve symptoms. There are also some other ways you can do this. Some medical professionals recommend a bleach bath, this is done by soaking the affected area in 40 gallons of warms water mixed with one half cup of bleach for 1o minutes. After this dry your skin and apply moisturizing creams or lotions. This will help alleviate symptoms of eczema
Below are also some tips to utilize to help deal with the problem.
* Try not to scratch the affected area
* Keep your fingernails short, so if you accidentally scratch, you minimize the chance of the skin breaking.
* Use warm water while bathing or taking a shower.
* Be gentle when you dry your skin after bathing so that you can prevent friction that breaks the skin
* You should wear loose, cotton clothing because they are basically gentle on the skin and it is ideal for people with this skin condition.
* Drink plenty of fluids to flush out the body's toxins.
* Try relaxation techniques like yoga for example so you can de-stress and avoid exacerbating your condition.
* Always keep your doctor informed of any developments with your condition and also if you plan to start bleach therapy
