If you have ever wondered if there is a way to lose belly fat in as little as 7 days, wonder no longer. It can be done, but you should be warned in advance that the road to losing that belly fat is not an easy one to navigate. In most cases, you have spent years allowing fat to accumulate in your abdominal area - to expect that it can be burned away with ease would be unreasonable.
There are things that you can do to make noticeable improvements in your stomach within a week, providing that you are only moderately overweight. If your excess weight is anything other than slight, you can still lose belly fat in 7 days, but it will probably not be noticeable to most people.
The first step to losing the belly fat
Losing a noticeable amount of belly fat is just 7 days is going to require some hard choices and strong will power. You need to first accept that your diet is going to be primarily liquid over the next several days, and steel your resolve to see the week through to the end. That resolve will enable you to avoid any mental thoughts of deprivation so that you can achieve the maximum weight loss effects without succumbing to the temptation to set aside your plan.
Water is critical to losing belly fat. Water holds the key to releasing the toxins that get stored within your abdomen's fatty tissue and flushing them out of the body. These toxins actually cause your fat cells to expand, which increases the size of your abdomen considerably. Flushing these toxins from your system will allow the fat cells to return to their normal size.
After the water comes the food
When we said liquid, we meant it. The foundation of your food needs will be met with foods high in water content. That includes fruits and vegetable that will provide you with the vitamins and minerals you will need to maintain your health as you diet. You will need to eat about three servings of each throughout the course of the day, dividing them up among the six modest meals you will be eating. The goal is to provide your body with a steady stream of easily digestible food that will cause your metabolism to rise and begin to burn away body fat.
To keep from being hungry throughout the day, supplement your liquid diet with a few teaspoons of natural peanut butter and nuts. Add a serving of fish or lean turkey for the bulk of your protein needs, and a serving of whole grains to top it all off.
Remember, the meals must be small. You have to reduce your daily caloric intake by more than 500 calories a day if you want to lose your belly fat in 7 days. You will also need to dramatically increase your aerobic activities to ensure that you are burning as many calories as you are eliminating from your diet. This double whammy will enable you to lose the belly fat quicker than you ever dreamed possible.
